How can anyone even take these protest seriously? The C.I.A has been funding and orchastrating these protest for years. Mainly with young college students. This is one the peaceful ways the american government tries to ruin and starve a country of its natural resources. Since,most people are lemmings or sheep they dont see this but it cant look good for John McCain and other Neocons who wanted to bomb Iran a year ago! You mean bomb all these innocent protestors? I thought the people of Iran were all evil and had devil tales! Never underestimate the power of denial!

“wadosy” seems quite correct (in the scope of this thread, etc.); too, the salience of Dr. K. (indeed, the psychiatrist!) is somehow amazing, like that of his many familiar “friends or foes,” etc. of the USA’s many millions, we are continually exposed to the same stale or warmed-over “opinionators” year after year–can we expect much else? maybe the much-touted Internet era will someday have the “traction” needed to “overthrow” several kinds of “elites.” such presumes a level of participation (and gleaning) that i’ve failed to notice….

Your concluding sentence is exactly right.

Krauthammer doesn’t care a whit about the Iranian protestors, except as instruments for weakening the regime. He focuses first, last and always on what’s good for Israel. What’s good for Israel is, ipso facto, good for America and the world, in K’s view.
