I am amazed at how little these folk must think of george bush, the way they goad and manipulate him with these proddings to his ego make for a sad picture of americas president and messiah. I believe that our president has been sold a bill of goods by both the christian zionist neocons and the israel first jewish american neocons, my guess is that he has been persuaded by his christian handlers (pastors) that he is a messianic figure brought into the kingdom for such a time as this as they like to say, his job is to help christ by helping israel. Our president is lost in the fog of his fundamentalist christian beliefs and he is being guided via remote control by those around him who appeal to his messianic christian ego, In his mind there isnt anything he wouldnt do for israels safety, thus their hatred of islamist, whom they associate with herr fuher and any other villanous figure who would serve their purpose.

So in the name of the Lords Messiah americas president leads the crusade in the middle east, slaughtering muslims to establish a kingdom that our Lord never promised would be established here on earth (john 18:36) `My kingdom is not of this world; if my kingdom were of this world, my officers would had struggled.’

But the script has been written now and the actors are on the stage, so whether in this act or in the next, the kingdom that never shall be will be introduced into the narrative and we shall see how well mankind will do in establishing this counterfeit kingdom.

The public education system has seen to it that most of them cannot.

The intent here is to preserve some shred of support during the waning days of his presidency. “Bush as Jonah” The Christian Kool-Aid drinkers will lap this one up, big time.

The problem is that the same names and faces keep getting the podium and are allowed to shovel their nonsense to the public in an unabated stream. If you or I tried to get an op-ed peice published in the NYT it would be a cold day in Hell before it ever happened…

Talk and discourse are good but it will take men of extraordinary courage who are willing to risk everything to effect any changes in the current status quo.

Two details I wish Mr. Lobe had addressed …

A. How the US invasion of Iraq drove out the Iraqi Christians … meaning Bush Jr. and the Amen Corner destroying their own people … as if Jonah going to Nineveh meant the destruction of Jews in that city … not bloodly likely.

B. Brian Williams on NBC did a report on Iraqi girls, refugees from the chaos of Iraq, being sold into sexual slavery to Saudis … who “buy them up” at a meat market in Syria. How purely evil. Brian said some of the girls are 8 years old! (Bush’s daughters running wild on Sixth Street in Austin and later in Argentina comes to mind, as does his wife ranting about the male strippers she adores.) How does that sit in your stomach?

This is worst than turning Allah McBeal into Ally McBeal via our sick cultural MTV colonization. 8 years old!!!!!!!!!! How do our leaders sleep at night? Where are the U.S. Catholic and Evangelical leaders speaking out about this, along with Jewish and Muslim leaders? Decent people should be upset.

Who will speak up for these kids?

And this evil has been carried out by the Christians waging this insane war. We’ve destroyed and or abandoned the Kampas, Contras, UNITA, Afrikaners, Rhodesia, Hmong, Montagnards and the Karen … and now we are destroying the Iraqi Christians … I would like to see Jim Lobe write about that.

One final point … I listen to the Christian Radio Station everyda and I am constantly bombarded (no pun intended) with calls for taking out Iran. We should not be used by the Rove’s of the foreign policy priesthood.
