Forget the “Military Option” on Iran’s Nuclear Program

In a Arms Control Association issue brief Greg Thielmann writes:

The United States needs to continue looking for diplomatic pathways to expanding IAEA access to Iranian nuclear capabilities and personnel, and stop rattling Pandora’s box as if it contained a key to the Iranian nuclear puzzle

Summarizing what Adm. William Fallon and other experts have said, the brief argues that the military option will not only be strategically ineffective, it will also be a complex, costly operation, with little international support.
