In spite of what Richard Rosenwald says, you cannot but admire the determination and the fixity of purpose of the Neocons. To achieve their ultimate goal of making the world safe for Israel, no sacrifices are too large for them. Be it financial, moral, international credibility â¦ you name it! I am sure if George Bush had only few more months Iran would have been bombed to smithereens by now in the wake of another successful intervention after Iraq.

Why does the Obama administration start looking at the US foreign aid to Israel? Does a country as rich as Israel needs $101bn (2007 figure, http://www.fas.org/sgp/crs/mideast/RL33222.pdf) in aid. This way, even if Israeli neo cons come to its senses, the US will reduce its own budget deficit. Has the US taxpayers plaid sugar daddy to Israel long enough?

As an American Jew it has taken a long time for me to arrive at the point where I feel utter disgust at the Israeli government and their position of negotiating for a two state solution. The spread of settlements is in the occupied territories is “beyond the pale”. It reminds me of the lemming like qualities of the Zealots in the Second Temple and you know the results of that. These people are ideological twits and fools and as an American I have no desire to encourage or finance this immoral, illegal and suicidal path. The Likud Party is like the Neocons in this country, stupid fools and idiots. Most every single neocon of Vietnam era age cut and ran as did Cheney, Bush, Rove, Rumsfeld, Saxby Chambliss and the rest of those cowardly punks. In Eastern philosophy there is a saying that you get what you resist so I guess the Fascist leanings of the neocons and the Likud are to be expected. A pox on all of you.
